How is Crabapple fulfilling the Great Commission?

The missions ministries of our church aim to glorify Jesus by gathering more and more worshipers. They are all built on the reality that outreach is not the ultimate mission, nor the primary end of our church. Worship is. Foreign missions and outreach ministries exist because worship doesn't. In other words, outreach and missions is the means to glorifying God by more and more worship.

In accord with Jesus' command to the disciples, "...you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth..." (Acts 1:8), we labor and pray in outreach near and far. We labor to advance God's kingdom locally and regionally through evangelism, benevolence, disaster relief, church planting, and church revitalization. We also send and support missionaries even to the unreached peoples of the world. And in accord with the promise to the disciples, we do so in utter reliance upon the power of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8) and promise of Christ "...behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age" (Matthew 28:20).
